In 1955 the Brakettes won their sixth New England Regional championship and third in a row and they compiled a fine 31-4 record during the year. However, they didn't make the trip to the World Tournament in Portland.
Pauline Theriault and Mary Jane Hagan handled the pitching chores.
Hagan fashioned an 18-2 record with no-hitters against the Columbia team of Washington DC, Bethlehem, PA, and Lynn, MA. She won three of the four regional tournament games, holding opponents to one run on three hits in 21 innings.
