STRATFORD BRAKETTES ANNOUNCE SEASON TICKET PACKAGES AS WELL AS SEVERAL FUND-RAISING SPECIALS FOR 2008

March 21, 2008 - 2008 SCHEDULE
The 2008 opener is less than three months away and the Stratford Brakettes have announced that season tickets are now on sale. The defending 28-time National ASA Champions will have at least 25 home dates this summer at Frank DeLuca Hall of Fame Field as they compete in the women's major division for the 62nd consecutive season. The season ticket doesn't include the July 20 visit by the USA Olympic Team.

With many of last year's key player returning again this season for Manager John Stratton, the Stratford Brakettes will be the favorite to make it three championships in a row and six in the last seven years when they open their title defense August 7 in Buffalo, NY.

"Without a major sponsor for the first time in team history, we are depending heavily on the sale of season tickets as well as our other fund-raising promotions," said General Manager Bob Baird. "Our season ticket packages offer fans quite a savings and they will help us keep this wonderful program thriving."

The cost for each of the 150 stadium box seats, which are located directly behind home plate, is $130 for the season. Included in that offer is a reserved parking space and valet wait service for the concession stand. The 225 reserved seats with back rests, the last seven rows in the home plate section, are $100 for the season, while the 1,264 right field and left field bleacher seats are $80 for the season pass. The general admission outfield seats are sold on a per-game basis.

Ticket orders may be made by contacting the Brakettes office at (203) 378-7262, or by downloading a printable order sheet. Additional information may be obtained by writing Stratford Brakettes, 185 Lordship Road, Stratford, CT 06615.

In addition to the season ticket package, the Brakettes have Advertising Opportunities for home run fence signs and media guide ads as well as Special Sponsorship Packages, featured by the Grand Slam for $750. The Grand Slam includes a 3 x 8 foot home run fence banner for all Brakettes' home games and clinics, a full page advertisement in the team's media guide, public address announcement at all home games, and two 30-second commercial spots during each 2008 Brakettes' webcast plus 10 general admission tickets to every home game game.

The newest sponsorship package this season is Adopt a Brakettes Player for $1,000. "This is a super deal for individuals, groups of fans, and businesses," added Baird. The sponsor receives two season box seats of their choice and they are the honorary Game-Day Coach, sitting next to Stratton in the dugout and bringing the lineup card to home plate for the pre-game routine. The sponsor, or their designee, gets to throw out the ceremonial first pitch, appear as a live between games guest on the Brakettes live webcast, 25 single-game tickets for the day, and they receive official team souvenirs and apparel.

Information on all the various promotions may be obtained by clicking the links above, by contacting the Brakettes office at (203) 378-7262, or by writing Stratford Brakettes, 185 Lordship Road, Stratford, CT 06615.
