STRATFORD BRAKETTES CUT TICKET PRICES

May 6, 2009 - The Stratford Brakettes have reduced the price of season tickets between 20-25 percent for the 2009 season that begins June 5 at Stratford's Frank DeLuca Hall of Fame Field with a 7 p.m. doubleheader against the Connecticut Panthers.

"We are aware of what has been happening with the economy and we want to give our fans the best possible value," said General Manager Bob Baird. "We have 52 home games (28 home playing dates) at DeLuca Field before we host the inaugural Women's Major Softball Championships, August 6-9."

The reduced season ticket prices are as follows:
   • General Admission first and third base bleachers reduced from $80 to $60;
   • Reserved with back rests (behind home plate) reduced from $100 to $80;
   • Stadium Box Seats (behind home plate) reduced from $130 to $100.

After the initial purchase, all subsequent season passes are half-priced. General Admission will be $30, Reserved will be $40, and Stadium Box Seats will be $50.

The cost of single-day admissions also has been reduced. General Admission game-day tickets are now $5, Reserved are $6, and Box Seats are $8.

The Brakettes will continue their policy of allowing all youth leaguers who wear their uniform shirt and are accompanied by an adult FREE admission throughout the season. Also, individual teams and leagues are invited to attend as the guests of the Brakettes. All players and coaches are admitted free. We select a team, or league, for each date and they are announced prior to the game as well as having the players serve as bat girls.
