Stratford Brakettes Host Meeting for Fans and Interested 2009 Volunteers

May 9, 2009 - The Stratford Brakettes held a meeting Monday, May 11th at the Sterling House Community Center in Stratford to recruit help for the upcoming season. It was open to all booster club members, fans and anyone interested in volunteering during the Brakettes' 2009 campaign.

The Brakettes will play over 50 home games at DeLuca HOF Field this summer, and cap off the season with the inaugural Women’s Major Softball Championships, August 6th-9th. Dozens of volunteers are needed to make this tournament a success.

While the Brakettes have announced plans to field a team in 2009, they must still continue fund-raising efforts to meet their goals.
