BRAKETTES POSTPONED AGAINST NEW YORK FREEDOM

June 20, 2009 - The scheduled doubleheader Saturday, June 20 against the New York Freedom at Frank DeLuca Hall of Fame Field has been postponed. It marks the third time in the last five years that a scheduled twin-bill between the two teams has been postponed.

Brakettes General Manager Bob Baird and Freedom Coach Dam Lamberson are trying to find a makeup date later in the season. It would have been a battle of unbeatens with the Brakettes carrying an 8-0 record and the Freedom boasting a 7-0 ledger.

Weather permitting, the Brakettes will host the Tradition U-23 Sunday at 6 p.m. at DeLuca Field.

The Brakettes have announced that the Tradition 18-U team will provide the opposition Friday, June 26 in a 7 p.m. doubleheader at DeLuca Field.
