Brakettes and Local Leagues Team Up Again

May 30, 2011 - The Brakettes will welcome the Black Rock Little League (Bridgeport, CT) to DeLuca HOF Field this Saturday night (June 4th) as special guests of the team. Selected Black Rock players will get to throw out the ceremonial first pitch before each game of the doubleheader and serve as batgirls during the games. League players will get to go on the field during the announcing of the starting lineups.

The Brakettes are looking to continue their work with local leagues in 2011, and the Black Rock Little League Softball Night is an example of the unique bond between the team and its young fans. Your league or youth team group can also share this amazing experience in Stratford this season. Cheshire (CT) Youth Softball has also set up a night at DeLuca, with June 25th already reserved for the group. Numerous other leagues have inquired about dates for the 2011 season, so get your request in while your date of choice is still available!

The Brakettes also provide live video webcasting of all our games at brakettes.com. The broadcasting crew will give live shout-outs to your group during game broadcasts leading up to and during your big day at DeLuca Field.

The Brakettes serve as willing and accessible role models to youth league players around the state and beyond. Batgirls get to hang out in the dugout with the Brakettes during the games and enjoy a view they can’t find anywhere else!
