JUNIOR BRAKETTES GAME SUSPENDED; STRATFORD BRAKETTES POSTPONED
June 27 - The Junior Brakettes doubleheader with the CT Rogue was suspended after four innings of the first game, while the second game was postponed.
The Junior Brakettes were leading 4-3 after four innings with Kailey Carrano of West Haven hitting a two-run home run and Lauren Rende and Charlee Horton of Stamford both driving in runs. The twin-bill will be resumed from the point of interruption at a date to be determined.
The scheduled evening doubleheader between the Stratford Brakettes and Maryland Chill was cancelled because of rain.
The Stratford Brakettes host the Chill at 10 a.m. Sunday, while the Junior Brakettes play the Chill at 12 noon.
