STRATFORD BRAKETTES PPND. VS. FIRE DEPARTMENT TEAM
Aug 4 - The scheduled benefit softball game between the Stratford Brakettes and the Stratford Fire Department Tuesday night at Frank DeLuca Hall of Fame Field has been postponed. It is tentatively set for Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. contingent upon the status of the playing field following the tropical storm.
Fans are asked to bring a non-perishable food item to "Fill the Firetruck" with all donations going to the Sterling House Community Center's Food Bank.
This is the fourth year in a row the Brakettes and Fire Department have partnered in this event which has benefitted worthy area causes.
The Stratford Brakettes pitchers and catchers will play for the SFD team while the Junior Brakettes batteries play for the Stratford Brakettes.
