Carly Normandin returns to the Brakettes for her 2nd season. As a senior outfielder for UMASS, Carly led the team and the Atlantic 10 Conference with a batting average of .400, hit 5 HRs, and stole 13 bases in 14 attempts, after an injury sidelined her for much of the early season. In her stellar rookie season for the Brakettes in 2009, Carly batted .434, hit 6 HRs, and was a terror on the bases with her lighting speed.
