BRAKETTES MUSEUM &
CONNECTICUT SOFTBALL HALL of FAME
          to Brakettes site

                    MISSION STATEMENT
The Brakettes Museum and Connecticut Softball Hall of Fame is coming soon to Stratford, Connecticut, to preserve and promote the illustrious 78-year history of the (Raybestos/Hi-Ho/Stratford/CT) Brakettes Women's Fastpitch Softball teams, as well as Stratford's Raybestos Cardinals, and other great softball teams and players from around the state of Connecticut.

The Brakettes Museum and Connecticut Softball Hall of Fame will serve as an educational beacon for children from throughout Connecticut, bringing school field trips and youth softball teams to Stratford to share the stories of the Brakettes' 24 National USA Softball Hall of Famers and other pioneering players who were truly ahead of their time.

The Brakettes Museum Fund was created after all-time Brakettes great Joan Joyce donated $50,000 to the club when she passed away in March 2022. With help from Joan's generous gift, plus private donors and the Connecticut softball public, the Brakettes Museum and Connecticut Softball Hall of Fame will feature memorabilia from throughout the history of the Brakettes. The 28-time ASA National Champion, 3-time ISF World Softball Champion, and 12-time WMS National Champion Brakettes will be joined in the Museum by their male counterparts, the 7-time ASA National Champion Raybestos Cardinals, as well as Stratford's own Sikorsky Aircraft and Lycoming (Avco/Textron) ASA Men's Industrial Slowpitch National Championship Teams. A temporary museum site in Stratford is currently being pursued until a permanent location can be found.

Please visit DeLuca Field in Stratford during Brakettes games in 2025, as the stadium will serve as a “living museum” during select contests. Check back at www.brakettes.com for updates!
