Brakettes Home All Weekend; Friday Night's Games to be broadcast by CPTV SPORTS

June 21, 2013 - CPTV Sports will be present on Friday night at DeLuca Field, as both games of the doubleheader will be recorded for future broadcast by the network. Come down to Stratford to be a part of the fun, then watch the game later on Connecticut's only 24/7 local all-sports network.

The Brakettes will host the New York Swag Black team in the 7:00 doubleheader. The Brakettes stand at 16-0 in 2013.

The Brakettes will also host the New York Swag Red team Saturday at 7 p.m. They conclude the weekend with a 6 p.m. doubleheader Sunday against the Stratford Breakers 18-U team.

Stephanie Call (8-0) and Samantha Greiner (6-0) will be available for mound action Friday night. Call has yet to allow a run and she has struck out 57 batters in 45 innings of work. Greiner threw the team's first perfect game of the year last Sunday over the Jersey Fusion. Both pitchers earned victories in Thursday night's doubleheader sweep of the Rhode Island Thunder.
