Stephanie Best's two-run homer in the bottom of the second made it 6-1 Riptide. An error on Sarah Andersen's subsequent grounder and a single by Rachael McGinnis put runners on first and second, but a nice 4-6-3 (Sobel to Chaput to Piper) inning-ending double-play prevented further damage.

With Linda Secka batting, Chaput was caught off third, and after a rundown between third and home was tagged out, Piper taking third. Secka followed with a line single to left, driving in Piper.
With two outs in the 'Nauts fourth, a double down the right field line by catcher Ryan Realmuto, followed by an infield single by Treena Peel and an error put runners on second and third. Malerich then struck out Chelsea Spencer to end the threat.
In the sixth the 'Nauts had two on and one out, but after catching Peel's pop fly, second baseman Erica Sobel doubled up Realmuto at first to end the inning.
Carri Leto's two-out double in the third, and former Brakette Alicia Smith's single in the fifth were the other Juggernaut hits. Left fielder Smith also made a sparkling catch on a foul ball hit by Fairchild in the fourth.
