Brakettes Announce 2007 Summer Softball Clinics Schedule

May 23, 2007 - Brakettes Softball is pleased to announce the 2007 Brakettes Summer Softball Clinics Schedule. The Brakettes will once again offer beginning and advanced pitching, hitting, fielding, and catching clinics. Frank DeLuca Hall of Fame Field and the Short Beach Recreational Complex in Stratford, CT will serve as the host sites for the clinic sessions.

Brakettes clinics feature a unique opportunity for aspiring players to receive hands-on instruction from the Brakettes themselves. All sessions (except for Catching…Session #4) are two days long, for three hours each day. Catching is a one day clinic, to be held on Saturday July 14th. Clinics run from 9 a.m. – 12 noon. Clinic fees are $90 per participant, (except for Catching…$45 each), which includes first-rate softball instruction, an official Brakettes Clinics T-Shirt, and two (2) Ticket Vouchers good for admission to any 2007 Brakettes home doubleheader. The Brakettes are now taking reservations for the following Brakettes Clinic sessions:

Beginning Pitching (Session #1) 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon
June 21-22 (Thurs./Fri.) $90.00

Beginning Pitching (Session #2) 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon
July 2-3 (Mon./Tues.) $90.00

Advanced Pitching (Session #3) 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon
July 5-6 (Thurs./Fri.) $90.00

Catching (Session #4) 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon
July 14 (Sat.) $45.00

Hitting/ Offensive Skills (Session #5) 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon
July 16-17 (Mon./Tues.) $90.00

Fielding/ Defensive Skills (Session #6) 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon
July 19-20 (Thurs./Fri.) $90.00

NOTE: Pitching and catching sessions (Sessions 1-4) will be staged at Frank DeLuca Hall of Fame Field. Sessions #5 and #6 will be held at Short Beach Recreation Complex.
