Carly Normandin joins the Brakettes for her first season. A junior outfielder for UMass, Carly led the team to the NCAA Regionals where they narrowly missed advancing over Washington. Carly was named the ECAC 2009 Division I Player of the Year. She batted .403 for the Minutemen, hit ten HRs and was 21 out of 24 in stolen base attempts. Carly played CF for UMass and is one of the great defensive players in the country.
