Thursday, August 6

Pool Play (Session #1, 6 Games)

10:15 a.m. and 12 noon at Short Beach
Team Social / Opening Ceremonies (Session #2)
at Frank DeLuca Hall of Fame Field
(Gates Open at 5:15)

5:00-6:00 p.m.  Team Social, Right Field behind outfield fence. Teams, coaches, hosts, bat girls, tournament committee, invited guests for burgers, pizza, and 6-foot subs, soda, chips. (Everyone should enter via parking lot entrance behind first base bleachers).

6:00 p.m.  Line Up for Procession of Teams

          Master of Ceremonies: Hal Baird

6:00-6:10 p.m.  Procession of teams and umpires with hosts/bat girls onto the field
and introduction of 2009 Women's Major Softball tournament participants.

6:10 p.m.  Welcome by Stratford Mayor James Miron

6:15 p.m.  VFW Color Guard Post 9460

6:20 p.m.  Guest Soloist National Anthem

6:25 p.m.  Final Remarks by Tournament Director Bob Baird

6:30 p.m.  Ceremonial First Pitches

Pool Play resumes at 7:00 p.m.
at DeLuca Field and Short Beach
and concludes with 9:00 p.m. games at both fields
