Casey just finished her sophomore season at UMASS-Lowell and posted a .293 average with five home runs. Harding contributed 11 doubles and drove in 20 runs, while scoring 25 on the season. Casey batted .343 for the Brakettes during her debut 2017 season. She also smashed four homers, drove in 16, and scored 25 runs for Stratford on the year. She played for Cheshire High School, where she was an All-State selection as a senior in 2015. Harding gives the Brakettes another dangerous bat in the lineup this summer.
