Rob has been working with the Brakettes since his years as a ball boy at Raybestos Memorial Field in the early 1980's. A graduate of the Connecticut School of Broadcasting, Mr. Baird is the radio voice of the Brakettes for all their game broadcasts. He is also the radio voice of the University of Bridgeport Men’s Basketball on WPKN-89.5 FM Bridgeport. Mr. Baird received a BA from the University of Bridgeport in 2001 and spent four years as a teacher in the Bridgeport Public Schools system. Rob served a 16-week internship in the newsroom at WFAN-660 AM (Sports Radio) New York before serving as Media Director during the Brakettes’ 2006 season.
