Brakettes Capture 2010 Women's Major Softball Championship
Sunday, August 1, Game 14, Championship Game -The Stratford Brakettes handed the St. Louis Saints a 4-1 defeat in the 2nd Annual WMS Championship on Sunday afternoon at Biondi Field in West Haven, CT. Rachele Fico picked up the victory for the Brakettes and earned both the Joan Joyce Most Outstanding Pitcher and Micki Stratton MVP Awards. (MORE)

Saints Defeat Freedom to Move into WMS Final
Sunday, August 1, Game 13 - The St. Louis Saints edged the New York Freedom, 4-3, on Sunday morning at Biondi Field to advance to the WMS Championship Game. Zoe Sinner hit a game-tying homer in the fourth, and Ashley Hall singled home the go-ahead run in the sixth to clinch a spot against the Brakettes in Sunday’s 12 noon final. (MORE)

Rachele Fico Perfect in Win over St. Louis Saints
Saturday, July 31, Game 11 - Rachele Fico delivered a performance for the record books Saturday night at Biondi Field in West Haven, hurling a perfect game to lead the Brakettes past the St. Louis Saints, 2-0, in the winner's bracket final of the 2010 Women's Major Softball National Championship. Havdoglous Sisters Lead Freedom Past Havoc, 1-0
Saturday, July 31, Game 12 - The New York Freedom knocked off the defending WMS champion New York City Havoc, 1-0, Saturday evening at Biondi Field in West Haven. The Freedom were fueled by a sixth-inning homer by Kristin Havdoglous. Her sister, Amanda Havdoglous, picked up the win with a complete game shutout, in which she struck out four batters. (MORE)
