Despite being only 25 years old, Denise Denis is one of the veterans on the Brakettes. The speedy defensive outfielder is also a terror at the plate as she hits for average and with power. In 2008, Denise had a batting average of .445 and was second on the Brakettes with 7 home runs. She was previously a First Team All-America in the 23-and-under national tournament. In 2006, Denise started in right field for the professional Connecticut Brakettes.
