Val was unbelievable in her first year with the Brakettes. One of a handful of players to capture team batting crown in her rookie season, Suto hit .465 (72-for-155) and she drove in 18 runs and scored 45 . . . A great table-setter for Brakettes, she also led the club in stolen bases . . . Her success carried over to Seton Hall this year where she finished second with a .364 BA on 64 hits in 176 at bats. She also scored 36 runs and stole 30-of-35 attempted bases . . . Former three-sport standout at Nottingham H.S.
