Mandie Fishback returns for her sixth season for the Brakettes as the starting shortstop and anchor of the infield. She made her debut in 2007, posting a .422 average with three HRs and a career-high 55 RBIs. Fishback has played both middle-infield spots for the Brakettes, even garnering All-American recognition at both the 2007 ASA 23-and-under and ASA Major championships at second base. She has been the full-time shortstop in Stratford since 2009. Mandie hit .420 in 2011 for the Brakettes, with four homers and 45 RBIs. She batted .363 with seven homers and 34 RBIs during her senior season at Florida Atlantic University and was named the 2007 Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year.
