Gabby recently concluded her outstanding scholastic career at Stamford's Westhill, where she led the Vikings to the quarterfinals of the state tournament, bowing to Cheshire. . . Last year she filled in with the Brakettes and this summer she will divide her time with the Team CT, an 18 Gold club, and the Brakettes . . . Recently named All-State, Gabby improved her batting average from the mid-.300s to .587 this year with seven home runs, 16 stolen bases and 23 runs scored from the leadoff position. . . . Received the prestigious Allyson Rioux scholarship and she will attend Ithaca College in the fall.
