There are not too many players who get to live their dream. Amber, however, is the exception to the rule. Beginning her career with the Brakettes as a bat girl, she is now preparing for her 12th season on the diamond as a player/coach. . . Last year she hit .373 with 20 RBI and had a .992 fielding percentage while playing first, second, and third base . . . The former Joel Barlow and American International softball standout sports a .305 career batting average. . . Already inducted into the Connecticut High School/College Softball Hall of Fame, she will become a member of USA Connecticut Softball Hall of Fame in October.
