Stephanie Call makes her Brakettes debut in 2011 after sitting out the NCAA season following her transfer from N.C. State to Florida Atlantic. Call will play for Brakette Hall of Famer Joan Joyce at FAU, starting in the spring of 2012. Stephanie blasted 14 homers as a sophomore at N.C. State in 2010, setting the single-season record for the Wolfpack. She also led the team in RBI (35), slugging pct. (.589), total bases (93) and games played/started (55). Call contributed 44 hits, including 5 doubles, while scoring 20 runs. Joan Joyce believes Call will make huge contributions at the plate and in the pitching circle for the Owls in 2012, and Brakette Manager John Stratton expects to use Call at both first base and on the mound.
