Ashley Waters has become one of the Brakettes’ veteran leaders, returning for her fourth year with the club. While playing second base during the 2009 season, Ashley batted .353 and belted 11 HRs, with nine doubles and two triples. She followed that up with a solid 2010 season, batting .325 with four homers and 34 RBI’s, adding 15 doubles and a pair of triples. In her senior campaign with Maine in 2008, Ashley posted a .352 batting average and belted 10 HRs. She was named the 2008 America East Conference Player of the Year.
