Denise Denis continues her storied career with the Brakettes, having starred with the franchise since 2005. With 10 HRs in 2011, Denis has now smashed 63 homers with the Brakettes, second on the career list only to Pat Dufficy's 91. Denis batted .439 in 2011, her fifth-straight .400 season with the Brakettes. She crushed 10 home runs, her third-straight campaign with double-digit homers. Denis also drove in 52 runs in 2011, hitting the 50-RBI plateau for the third time in as many seasons. In 2009, Denise tied the Brakettes' single-season home run record at the time with 15. Denise played from 2002-2005 at UMASS, where she was a career .308 hitter. She batted .360 as a senior and was named to the Atlantic-10 All-Conference Team.
