Ashley Waters returns for her fifth year with the Stratford Brakettes after posting career highs in 2011 in most statistical categories. Waters set career marks with a .411 batting average, 75 runs scored, 81 hits, a team-leading 16 doubles and 48 RBIs. Her eight homers in 2011 were second to her 2010 season, in which she smashed 11 long balls. Waters was also named the 2011 WMS All-Tournament pick at second base. She posted a .352 batting average and belted 10 HRs as a senior at the University of Maine and was named the 2008 America East Conference Player of the Year.
