Raeanne Geffert just finished her sophomore season at Bucknell, where she was named to the 2018 All-Patriot League First Team. She was a Second Team All-Patriot choice in her freshman campaign, when she struck out 117 and won 14 games. Geffert struck out 153 in 2018 en route to an 18-12 record. While at Seymour H.S., she was chosen as the CT Post Player of the Year in 2016. She led Seymour to two state championships and was named the State Championship Game MVP both times (2014 and 2016). Raeanne gives the Brakettes a top shelf hurler and the chance to showcase another homegrown Connecticut talent.
