Val Suto has set the table for the Brakettes for the last three seasons, getting on base early and wreaking havoc with her speed. From the leadoff spot, she has twice been the Brakettes' Batting Queen (2015 and 2016) and finished second in 2017. Her .530 mark in 2016 was the third-highest batting average in franchise history. Val has led the Brakettes in hits and runs scored all three seasons, with career-highs in hits (80) and runs (72) in 2016. Suto starred previously at Seton Hall, where she posted a college career-high .364 in 2016.
