Position: OF Bats: R Throws: R College: Dickinson College, PA Resides: Easton, CT At Joel Barlow High School in Easton, CT, Kristen Acocella was part of a devasting 1-2 punch along with Briana Marcelino, now a UConn standout. Their explosive bats led the Falcons to a state championship in 2017. The pair were reunited last year on the Stratford Brakettes, where Acocella put up solid numbers but she became just another talented player in Manager John Stratton's offensive arsenal. The recent Dickinson College graduate is looking to build upon last year's .319 batting average with 21 RBI in 28 games. She was a bona fide Division I prospect, had it not been for an injury that prevented her from showcasing her talents during the summer prior to her senior year at Barlow. Kristen had a notable four-year career as a Red Devils outfielder. The International Business & Management major has a post-graduate year of eligibility thanks to the 2020 Covid-19 season and she will be taking her skill set to Springfield College.
