Position: C/3B/1B Bats: R Throws: R College: Manhattan Resides: Southbury, CT Kaitlyn Flood begins her second year on the Stratford Brakettes. After sharing the catching duties with Alexa Milius the past two years (2019 on the Junior Brakettes), she will have a new partner in Charlee Horton behind the plate since Milius has an internship at Virginia Tech. Kaitlyn came to the Brakettes highly touted and she did not disappoint, hitting .400 and ranking among the leaders with five home runs and 29 RBI. She has been known for her quick bat and power to all fields, while possessing superb catching skills. A two-time All-State player at Pomperaug High in Southbury, she concluded her scholastic career with a .439 batting average and the school's all-time leader in hits (136) and RBI (113). This past spring she was a key member of Manhattan University's MAAC championship team that advanced to the NCAA Arkansas Regional.
