Position: C/3B/1B Bats: R Throws: R High School: Pomperaug Resides: Southbury, CT Pitchers in the South-West Conference can breathe a sigh of relief now that Pomperaug's Kaitlyn Flood has graduated. The standout catcher, as well as a corner infielder, was the main reason why the Panthers earned a berth in both league and state tournaments. The two-time All-State player, and three-time All-SWC performer, is going to Manhattan College on a scholarship. She finished her career with a .439 batting average and is the school's all-time leader with 136 hits and 113 RBI. She was one of 13 players statewide to earn Academic All-State. |
