Rebecca Johnson earned a starting field berth in her freshmen year at Colgate, where she started 51 of 52 games. Batting .268 (42-for-157), she also led the Red Raiders with seven outfield assists. Johnson was Connecticut's Gatorade Player of the Year in 2018 when she hit .721 with a .782 on-base percentage and she holds the school record for hitting, stolen bases, and runs scored at Seymour High. The four-year high honor student also was a MaxPreps Second Team Smal School All-America.
