Sydney Senerchia was one of four freshmen starters at St. Peter's College this spring and she made quite an impression by accounting for one-half of the Peacocks' victories. The talented left-hander came to the SPC with some pretty nifty credentials at North Branford High School. She compiled a 23-1 record with a 0.36 ERA, 296 strikeouts in 155 innings pitched and 15 shutouts in 2018. Equally adept at the plate, she was a .323 career hitter. First-team All-State in 2018, Senerchia also was chosen as the 2018 Connecticut Sportsmanship Award winner.
