Gigi Speer won't have a long trip for Junior Brakettes home games. Residing in neighboring Bridgeport, the talented freshman outfielder at Fordham University enjoyed a stellar career at Hopkins School in Hamden, CT. In leading her team to the Fairchester Athletic Association championship in 2018, she earned All-League and All-Area acclaim for the second year in a row. She played in 17 games for the Rams, who won their eighth straight Atlantic-10 championship and earned an NCAA tournament berth.
