Abby Ota is halfway through her Joel Barlow High School career and she is already on the radar of dozens of Division I softball coaches. A two-time South-West Conference all-star, Ota is a game-breaking lefty leadoff hitter. She finished the 2019 season with a .725 batting average (58-for-80) to lead Connecticut. For her career she is hitting .652 with 105 base hits. Abby has also stolen 60 bases, including 38 this year. Much of her summer will be devoted to the Georgia Impact Premier team.
