Sarah Lawton comes to the Junior Brakettes after a star-studded JUCO career at Florida Southwestern State, which compiled a 54-3 record this spring. Lawson finished 12-2 with a 1.36 ERA and 102 strikeouts in 98 innings pitched. She was 19-3 in her career with the first perfect game in the program's history. At Holy Cross High School in Waterbury, Sarah was the MVP in the 2015 and 2016 CIAC Class S tournament as well as a two-time All-State selection.
