Position: IF Bats: L Throws: R College: Boston University Resides: Chico, CA Manager John Stratton received some unexpected news in mid-May when Brittany Younan said she wanted to play again. The Chico, CA, native graduated last year with her Master's Degree and as now works as an Accounts Assistant at BU and coaches high school softball. The 2018 Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year for the Terriers, Younan hit .315 during her senior campaign after sitting out 2017 with a medical redshirt because of injury. She won the Brakettes batting crown in 2017 with a .522 average and she scored 28 runs. Last summer she played nine games before sustaining a summer-ending eye injury playing slow pitch softball! The slap hitting star has played second, third, and shortstop for the Brakettes.
