Stephanie Hill recently concluded her four-year Louisiana State University career with a trip to the Super Regional in Tucson, AZ, where the Lady Tigers lost to six-time NCAA champion Arizona in a best-of-three series. Hill enjoyed an outstanding four-year career, highlighted by her selection as an Easton Third Team All-America in 2005. In pacing LSU to an 11th national ranking, Hill hit .328 with 16 doubles, one triple, six home runs and 36 RBI. The slick-fielding first baseman from Harahan, LA, committed only one error in 337 chances for a .997 average. A walk-on as a freshman, Hill earned a scholarship in her sophomore year and responded with 13 home runs. At Dominican High School, Hill earned four letters in basketball and three in softball and track.
