Nikki Myers

Nikki Myers returns to the Brakettes after playing for the amateur team during an ASA Championship 2002 season. Myers was outstanding both on the mound and with the bat. She was a perfect 15-0 with a 0.08 ERA and 164 strikeouts in 92 innings pitched. When she was not pitching, Myers played outfield or was the DH. She joined a long list of rookie Brakettes to win the team batting title as she hit .416 with nine doubles, three triples and two home runs plus 33 RBI. Myers, a St. Petersburg, FL, native had an outstanding intercollegiate career at Florida Atlantic University where she was a two-time All-America and three-time All-Sun Conference Player of the Year. Ranked seventh in NCAA Division I career strikeouts with 1,376, an average of 9.7 per game, she also ranks 23rd in career wins (108-35). In addition to her pitching, Myers was one of the nations top collegiate hitters at FAU with a .358 career batting average, 55 home runs and 175 RBI. Nikki is an assistant coach at Michigan State University.
