Beth Boden will be making her debut for the Stratford Brakettes this summer. A native of Stevens Point, WI, Boden recently concluded a fantastic junior season at Tennessee Tech where she led the Golden Eagles to a 50-win season and the NCAA Super Regional. In the process, she put up some of the biggest numbers in college softball as she led the NCAA Division I in home runs with 25. Finishing with a .362 batting average, Beth also drove in 54 runs, collected 81 hits, including 44 of the extra base variety. Seventeen of those were doubles. A Second Team Academic All-America, Boden was a key reason for the team's surge to the Ohio Valley Conference championship.
