Amber Radomskis dream of a lifetime came true in 2006 when she earned a spot on the Stratford Brakettes roster. To say she was excited would be an understatement. She had come to games since she was a youngster growing up in nearby Easton, eventually becoming the teams bat girl for several years. Radomski enjoyed a successful high school career at Joel Barlow, where she set several school pitching and hitting records. She moved on to American International College in Springfield, MA, and played four years of softball. She now serves as an assistant coach at AIC. Before finally realizing her goal of playing for the Brakettes, Amber played several years for the Connecticut Classics and was a key player on their 2001 National 23-and-Under championship team, when it was sponsored by the Brakettes softball organization. She plays infield, outfield, and catches.
