College: Massachusetts
Resides: Commack, NY

Danielle Henderson just can’t stay away from the Brakettes and DeLuca Field for too long. Back with the team for the third time since her 1997 debut, Henderson gives an already strong pitching corps another talented right arm. Danielle is one of the most celebrated pitchers in softball today having won an Olympic Gold Medal in 2000, two ASA National Championships, and an NPF title in 2006 with the New England Riptide. The former UMass All-America, who finished her collegiate career with a 108-35 record and 1,343 strikeouts, has pitched five seasons with the Brakettes. During that time she has carved out a 94-10 record with 1,285 strikeouts in 706.1 innings. After playing three years for the Brakettes, Danielle made Team USA in 2000 and helped the team to a gold medal in the Sydney Olympics. She played for the national team again in 2001 before rejoining Manager John Stratton for the 2002 and 2003 ASA title seasons. In 2004 she pitched for the Arizona Heat before moving on to the Riptide in Lowell, MA, for the 2005-2007 seasons.
