Ali DuBois was hoping for a Three-Peat at Boston University this spring until COVID-19 sent all college softball to the sidelines. The Boston University junior right-handed pitcher, playing for former Stratford Brakettes all-star second baseman Ashley Waters, led the Terriers to consecutive Patriot League titles in 2018 and 2019. She earned Pitcher of the Year acclaim both years. She was off to a 9-5 start and 1.44 ERA when BU was forced to shut things down. During her BU career, she has compiled a 60-24 record with 486 strikeouts in 527 innings. She is entering her third year as a member of the Brakettes staff and coming off a 13-0 campaign when she fashioned a 0.44 ERA with 78 K's in 85.1 innings. DuBois was an All-State pitcher at Torrington High prior to enrolling at BU, where she is majoring in biomedical engineering.
