Rebecca Findley brings an outstanding resume to the Stratford Brakettes. The former four-year starting shortstop at Seymour High, where she helped the Wildcats win consecutive Class M titles, enjoyed a fine 2019 season with the Junior Brakettes. She hit .275 (28-for-102), played in all 39 games, drove in 13 runs and scored 25 runs. Findley and Claire McCann shared the home run lead with four. In six games with the Stratford Brakettes she hit .308 with one home run and six RBI. Findley had 110 hits, 100 RBI, 15 home runs and a .717 slugging percentage at Seymour, where she earned All-State honors twice. Majoring in kinesiology at the University of Maine, she earned the starting nod at third base this year.
