Sydney Senerchia's performance for the 2019 Junior Brakettes earned her a berth on an already strong Stratford Brakettes pitching staff for the 2020 campaign. Senerchia compiled a 5-1 record with a 1.95 ERA in 39 innings and 43 strikeouts last summer. The talented left-handed pitcher/outfielder is the pitching ace at St. Peter's College, where she is a sports management major. She had a 2-2 record and 3.23 ERA in the Peacocks' abbreviated spring season. As a freshman in 2018 she made 22 starts and struck out 114 batters. Sydney led North Branford High to the Class M finals in 2018 with a 23-1 record, 0.36 ERA and 296 K's in 155 innings. She is the first southpaw pitcher on the Stratford Brakettes roster since 2015.
