Position: OF Bats: L Throws: R College: Seton Hall Resides: Mercerville, NJ Five years into her Stratford Brakettes career, Val Suto already has established herself as one of the top outfielders in team history. A defensive specialist in center field, Suto has killed many opponent rallies with her ability to track down gap shots that appeared to be hits and turn them into outs. Her outfield speed has carried over into her base-stealing skill where she owns the all-time record with 101 thefts in 105 attempts. Ranked among the career leaders in hits (336, 21st) and runs scored (268, 20th), she has that uncanny ability to slap the ball where the defense “ain't”, even when they set up in anticipation of it. Val is a three-time WMS All-America and two-time batting champion (2015, 2016). The Seton Hall graduate has a .475 career batting average, the highest among active players.
