Maggie Britt has a bright future at Springfield College when college softball resumes in 2021. Her athletic ability, speed, and left-handed slapping skill impressed Springfield head coach and ex-Brakettes standout Kate Bowen. An outfield starter for the Junior Brakettes in 2019, Maggie hit .265 and scored 23 runs while leading the team in stolen bases. During her senior year at Milford's Lauralton Hall, where she earned Class M All-State, Maggie hit .530, and had a .643 on-base percentage. She also was a perfect 16-for-16 in stolen bases, scored 34 runs, and had 15 RBI. The Bridgeport resident is majoring in psychology.
