Kiani Robinson is a softball junkie who plays the sport year-round. Her hard work paid off when she signed earlier this spring to attend the University of Bridgeport on a softball scholarship next fall. Kiana had a sparkling junior season in 2019 for the Green Dragons, despite the fact they didn't qualify for states. She hit .328 with nine extra base hits and she earned first team All-Southern Connecticut Conference acclaim. Playing throughout the infield and outfield, she batted .280 with two home runs, 12 RBI and 15 runs scored for the 25-13-1 Junior Brakettes. Defensively, she plays third base like a vacuum cleaner, never missing a fielding chance.
