Last July 5 the Geffert sisters of Seymour, CT, made Brakettes history. It marked the first time in the team's 73-year history that sisters had pitched against each other. Jenna, a freshman at Colgate University, pitched for the Junior Brakettes, drawing the tough assignment of facing her sister Raeanne, the ace of the Bucknell University staff. While the Stratford Brakettes prevailed, Jenna showed everyone she plans on creating her own legacy with the Brakettes. Last year she had a great season for the Junior Brakettes pitching staff with a 6-3 record in 45 innings. In the spring of 2019 she led Seymour High to a berth in the Class M finals with an 11-2 record, 1.55 ERA and 109 strikeouts in 86 frames. Jenna finished her career with a 39-3 record, a 1.67 ERA and 386 K's.
